Torrevieja Half Marathon
On Sunday 28th February 2010, Torrevieja will hold its Ciudad de Torrevieja International Half Marathon.
The 27th edition of the Ciudad de Torrevieja International Half Marathon will take place on February 28th at 10am. If you like jogging, you have a date at the Paseo de Vistalegre. On the other hand, if you just like to watch jogging, you have 21 kilometres next to the sea to look at the race.
This circuit, 21 kilometres and 97 metres long, is officially approved by the Spanish Royal Federation of Athletics. The surface is asphalted and goes around twice. The starting point at the Paseo Vistalegre will begin at 10 am.
Moreover, the organisation of the Ciudad de Torrevieja (City of Torrevieja) International Half Marathon has prepared a great fiesta for both the runners themselves and the attending public in which there will be entertainment shows and children's entertainment. Torrevieja is an attractive coastal tourist destination in the province of Alicante. It has some excellent, well-kept beaches as well as numerous accommodation and leisure services.
