Following the performance of the Orchestra of the Valencian Community in Venice, Francisco Camps, the President of the Community, announced that the La Fenice Theatre would now also join the Palau de les Arts in its programming ideas as from next year and that the two houses would join in their efforts to bring exceptional attractions to their two locations. Mr. Camps also announced that in the next legislature, the Valencian Government would spend some 45 million Euros on creating music schools in the Community. In practical terms this will mean the creation of a second Superior Music School in Valencia, the creation of a similar school – the first – in Castellon, and the enlargement of the current music schools in Oliva, Alicante, Elda, Elche, Denia, and Ontinyent, whilst Utiel will have its own Professional Music Conservatory.Author: Valencia Life
