Just Not Right

Valencia Mayoress Rita Barbera has written an official letter of complaint to National Carrier after it announced that Iberia would not be undertaking any more flights between Valencia and London, and that the route would now be taken over by the company’s low-cost airline Clickair. In her letter to the Company, Mrs Barbera stated that a decision of this sort ‘was not justified at all especially in the light of the Americas Cup being celebrated in Valencia this year and the high quality of life demanded by a large number of those attending the event. She also added that Iberia had been flying between Valencia and London for 45 years ‘ and now was not the time to pull out’.
