The Guardia Civil union AUGC was at great pains yesterday to underline the legality under which a member of the Corps is directing the various enquiries into possible allegations of mistreatment of suspects by the local police of Torrevieja. The AUGC also pointed out that the judge hearing the case had asked the Guardia Civil investigator to ‘respect the constitutional rights’ of the detainees.Author: Valencia Life
