It was revealed yesterday that the President of the Partido Popular, Mariano Rajoy has decided to undertake the first campaign meeting of the Party in Valencia on Friday week. The setting is to be the main auditorium of the Palau de les Artes in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, the same setting used for the world premiere of the film “Tirant Lo Blanch”. Insiders have revealed that the Party is intent on creating an event of major importance technologically, that could possibly cause some surprise amongst the attendees, which are expected to include all the Autonomous Presidents belonging to the Party, whose presence has already been confirmed by Madrid. During the meeting most of the speeches are expected to severely criticise the policies of Socialist Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, whom many are expected to state have only caused confrontation amongst almost everyone in Spain. This will be the first real campaign meeting for the Partido Popular who actively seek to renew their majority in next year’s elections.
