A 26-year-old man died yesterday after being thrown by a bull during the fiestas of Sollana in Valencia Province. This latest incident occurred early on Thursday morning when the young man lost his balance whilst watching the bulls and fell into the path of one of them. After being gored, the bull then threw him into the air and he landed on his head, which resulted in his death. Almost immediately the church bell started its mournful peal and the entire village turned out in memory of Vicente, who became the fourth victim this year of the bull runs after tragedies of a similar sort occurred in Betera last June, and Sagunto Port and Onda earlier this month.
