Moving Things About

It has been revealed that as a result of the recent land sale, the Benidorm Theme Park Terra Mitica has decided to move its Tizona roller coaster to a different site inside the park in order not to disturb either residents or hotel guests once the sold area has been built. Sources inside the park stated that the moving of the roller coaster will take place during the winter and that it will open next year.  It will be moved from its present site inside the Iberia section of the Park to an area of the expanded Greece section and will sit between ‘The Labyrinth of the Minotaur’ and a simulator called ‘The Lost Temple’. Tizona sits on 93 steel pillars set in a 600,000-kilo cement base. It has a surface of 17,650 square metres, has a height of 32 metres, can take up to a thousand passengers, has a 700-meter-long track that is covered in 90 seconds. It was initially opened in March three years ago.
