Benidorm Fight Fatality
A 26-year-old Scotsman died following a fight between rival gangs in Benidorm, according to the local police. Investigators have revealed that the dead man, along with two of his friends, was making their way home to the apartment the group had rented in the holiday town, when they were confronted by four other young men. For reasons that are yet to be explained fully, a fistfight broke out and the 26-year-old received a punch in the face that killed him instantly. As soon as he had fallen to the ground, the four fled the scene, whilst the police were called. Sources later stated that taking a statement from the other two men was ‘complicated’ as they had consumed a great deal of alcohol, were in a state of shock following what had happened and were not conversant in Spanish.
