I had a salade with goats cheese with lots of avocado and some fruit mixed in it as starters and that brought me back to France where I had some very good memories.
For the main course, I had fish delicatly blended with a Saffron sauce that pleasantly surprised me and on top of that it also was presented beautifully. Afters was french apple cake with icecream........ yummy!!!!!! But done in such a way that it was mouth-watering.
The menu included a drink and we had coffee for afters.
Alasdair Moore, actually is English and believes in what he is doing. He always wanted a French restaurant. He has foie gras on his menu as well as confit duck, his chefs are really good at what they do.
I genuinely would recommend this restaurant.
The service was great, the atmosphere superb and the food exquisite! And that on a normal wednesday afternoon!
Just try this one for yourself, and mention the "Valencia Trader" and you might get a drink from Alasdair!!!
